One month ago, my friends and I had break time from our course of one week. We made a plan to go vacation to Malang beaches such as Balekambang beach, Sendiki beach and other beaches. We counted about cost that we must prepare to go there about 100K-200K rupiahs a person. We had idea to stay at guest house and would back at the next day because the trip needed so long time approximately it took our hours by motorcycle. I was hesitated about join with them or not because I worry street will be slippery and we were all the women, so there was no person who can accompany us.
In addition, there are nine
students at our camp, Susi, Wulan, Nida, Gita, Zizi, Mar’ah, Kirey, Aska, and
me. Also, there were Ayu and Lutfi, our classmates who lived in different dorm.
We discussed only with Susi, Wulan, Nida, Gita, Zizi, Mar’ah, Kirey, and me.
So, the day after that time, I asked to Aska and Lutfi about their skill to
ride a motorcycle and offer them to join with us. And then, there is not yet
decision from them. Susi, Mar’ah, Aska, and me still discussed about that.
Eventually, in the Friday morning before we did examination, Susi got accident.
She was hit by motorcycle. Moreover, Malang had floods,
thus we thought we take risk if we still went there. After that, we decided to
go to Blitar beach, Gondo Mayit beach, nearer than Malang beach. It takes about
two hours by motorcycle. We gathered to discuss again our plan. Susi could not
join because she is still sick, Lutfi and Aska
did not want to join because she did not get permission from her parents,
Mar’ah still had trauma to ride motorcycle and Zizi also sick. I am still
confused to join or not, I want but I felt not safe, I never go by motorcycle
for long period. My friends persuaded me to join with them because if I did not
join, our team will be odd. Short story, I decided to follow them.
Gondo Mayit beach
I was so grateful to my friends that
had invited me to join with them. This beach has a brownish sand and the waves
are relatively high. What is interesting about this beach is the presence of
hills around it. Green scenery combined with the blue sky on this beach we can
see from one of the hills around the coast. Very beautiful. Also, it composed with
the gradient blue sea adding the magnificence. Because of spreading of
Covid-19, this beach only opens on Saturdays and Sundays. So when we went
there, the ambiance is so calm and quiet. Like we had private beach and the entrance
ticket is free. We had a lot of fun in this beach, such as playing wave,
building sand castle, sightseeing, and taking picture. Furthermore, the scenery
during journey to go there is also beautiful. We passed many views like rice
fields, hills, corn fields, and terracing. However, when we came back, we
almost lost and it was heavy rain until it took approximately four
hours to came back.
